this medium size (12 inches high by 18 inches wide) cultivar is an
open-pollinated seedling of
H. yingeri. It has
medium green foliage with a creamy white marginal
variegation. The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly
wavy, slightly rippled and shiny on top. Deep purple
flowers with long reddish-brown pedicels bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes 24 to 30 inches tall. It
does not set seeds. The
registration materials state: "...White irregular
margins on broadly ovate leaf with a weeping habit...light
glaucous bloom disappears quickly." |
