this upright growing, medium size (22 inches high by 32
inches wide) cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of
H. 'Peanut'.
It is a blue-green hosta and its
broadly ovate foliage is occasionally twisted, heavily
corrugated with a glaucous bloom on top. Pale lavender,
bell-shaped flowers bloom from June into July on scapes
about 19 inches tall followed by viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Heavy corrugation
with closely spaced puckering and unruly foliage...turns
green in late summer or if exposed to very bright light." |
