this slow growing, small to medium size (11 inches high
by 30 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Dorothy
Benedict' × (H. yingeri × unnamed hosta). It is a dark
green hosta with cream and yellow streaked variegation.
The broadly ovate leaves are slightly corrugated, have
widely spaced veins and are glaucous on the top. Pale
lavender flowers bloom from July into August on scapes
32 to 36 inches tall. It does not set seed. The
registration materials state: "...Very leathery
leaves, slug and snail resistant, sun tolerant with
dense clusters of pale lavender flowers...later in the
season some celadon streaks occur."
