Registered by Bob Kuk of Kuk's Forest in Ohio in 2008, this
upright growing cultivar is a sport of H. 'Sea Sapphire'.
The foliage on this large size (25 inches high by 26
inches wide) hosta is medium blue-green with variable
greenish yellow marginal variegation which also has
lighter green streaks. Bell shape flowers bloom from
June into July on scapes up to 23 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...striking
upright leaves on an
upright clump...margin
changes to yellow..."
