This sport of a streaked form of H. 'Fried Green Tomatoes'
is an upright growing, large size hosta about 22
inches high by 46 inches wide. The foliage is "deep"
yellowish green with a creamy white marginal
variegation.
Its leaves are slightly shiny on top,
broadly ovate, very slightly convexly cupped and
have widely spaced, prominent veins. Near white,
fragrant flowers bloom in August on scapes up to 25
inches tall followed by seeds whose viability was
unknown at the time of registration.
The registration
materials state: "...Foliage looks good well into
autumn and celadon streaks in the transition area
between the leaf and margin colors give it an
elegant look...emerges with yellow margins that turn
creamy white by June."
