This cultivar from
Steve Schulte
of Wisconsin is a non-registered sport of H. 'Undulata
Univittata'. The mound grows into a medium size hosta about 16 inches in height with a
spread of 36 inches. Its medial (center) white variegation is
much narrower than that of its mother plant. The leaves are
wavy, curled at the tip and have smooth texture. Pale lavender
flowers bloom in July. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "I cannot see much difference between 'Foxfire Viper' and
'White Ray'..."
