Registered by Danny Van Eechaute of
Belgium in 2010, this
blue-green colored cultivar is a sport of H. 'Dewed Steel'.
It is a small size hosta about 8 inches high with a
spread of around 17 inches. The leaves are ovate, wavy
and have a glaucous bloom on top with pink to light red
petioles. Tubular, translucent edged flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 12 inches tall.
According to the registration materials: "...artificially induced tetraploid version of H. 'Dewed Steel'. Extremely thick leaf substance..."
