This cultivar with H. 'Tokudama' in its background was originated by Fleeta Brownell Woodroffe of Iowa and registered on her behalf by Peter Ruh of Ohio in 1999. It is a medium size plant with blue-green foliage that has thick substance. The leaves are heavily corrugated, cupped and have a bloom on the top and bottom. Near white flowers bloom from late June into July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...comes very close to 'Tokudama' itself in both foliage and flower."
