this cultivar is a medium size (17 inches high by 20
inches wide) seedling of H. 'Tequila
Sunrise' ×
H. 'One Man's Treasure'. It has yellow foliage
with a slightly rippled margin. The leaves are slightly
shiny on top, dull on the bottom and moderately wavy
overall with dark purple petioles. Medium lavender
flowers bloom from September into October on dark purple scapes up to 20 inches tall. The
registration materials state: "...Bright wavy
leaves with dark purple petioles. Bright yellow color in
the spring is achieved with some sun...Turns medium
green by midsummer." |
