This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Hugo Philips of Belgium and Ran Lydell of Cooks Nursery and Eagle Bay Gardens in New York, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Searing Flame'. It is a medium size plant about 12 inches high by 26 inches wide with blue-green foliage. The leaves are narrowly ovate and smooth textured. Pale purple flowers bloom in August.
