This non-registered cultivar is a
seedling of H. 'Filagree' from
Tom Schmid of Michigan.
It is a large size hosta about 21 inches high by 42
inches wide with blue-green foliage that has golden
colored streaked variegation. From late June into July,
it bears near white flowers in dense clusters.
The mother
plant is spelled with an "a" in Filagree while this
sport is spelled with an "i" in Filigree. Who knows why?
