Rick Sawyer of Maine originated
this sport of H. 'Jimmy
Crack Corn'. This is a large size (24 inches high),
heavily rippled cultivar which is not
registered. Its foliage is green with a yellow medial (center)
variegation. The leaves are thick in substance and slightly
corrugated. Near white flowers appear from mid-June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Since there already is a cultivar named 'Tequila
Sunrise', the name 'Fernwood's Tequila Sunrise'
cannot be accepted for
The
American Hosta Society registration purposes."
