Hosta 'Fantabulous'

Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan registered this seedling of H. 'Fascinator' in 1999. The medium size mound is 17 inches tall and 40 inches wide with slightly wavy foliage. In mid-July, the pale lavender flowers begin to bloom but are sterile and do not set seeds.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...a very wide-margined, much improved version of 'Fortunei Albomarginata', though the two are not related."

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "The variegated margin gradually turns creamy yellow, especially in hot climates and bright light."
