The result of a cross of H. 'Lily
Pad' × H. 'Lakeside Sir Logan', this
upright growing, medium size (15 inches high by 28 inches wide) cultivar was originated by
Mark Zilis of Illinois and
registered by
Jim Schwarz of
Jim's Hostas of Iowa (now owned by
Uniquely
Hostas of Wisconsin) in 2012.
It has medium blue-green foliage that is broadly ovate,
moderately cupped with a very shiny top. Medium lavender, spider
shaped flowers bloom from July into August. It sets seeds but
their viability was undetermined at the time of registration. This
cultivar was described as "very large ruffled blue green,
rubbery looking, downward cupping."
