this small size (11 inches high by 20 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Sum
and Substance' ×
H. 'Sagae '. It has yellow-green ovate foliage
that is slightly folded, moderately rippled and has a
glaucous bloom on top. Pale lavender flowers bloom from
mid-June into July on scapes 26 to 30 inches tall. It
sets seeds but their viability was not known at the time
of registration. The
registration materials state: "...Creamy
yellow-green leaves with prominent veins and moderately
rippled margins.." |
