of Germany in 2016, this miniature size (4 inches high
by 7 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Abby'.
The foliage is medium blue-green, slightly wavy and dull
on top. Flowers with faint stripes bloom from June into
July on scapes up to 9 inches tall.
The registration
materials state: "Small plant with arrow shaped, wavy,
blue-green leaves. Named after the river Ems that runs
through Rheine. Color changes from medium blue-green
to slightly blue-green." |
