Registered by Gerry Hicks
of Maine in
2018,
this cultivar is
a fast growing, small size (10 inches high by 20 inches
wide)
sport of H. 'Sharon's Choice'. It has medium
green colored foliage with yellow marginal variegation.
The leaves are lanceolate, heavily rippled, slightly
folded, moderately cupped and slightly shiny on top. The
leaf blade extends down into the petiole. Medium
lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into August on scapes 15 to 25 inches tall followed by viable seeds.
The registration materials state: "...Narrow leaves
with wavy edges are cupped enough to look like little
elf shoes...yellow margins fade to white later."
