Registered by Amanda Blake of Australia in 2012, this
small size (8 inches high by 14 inches wide) cultivar
is of unidentified parentage. Its leaves are golden yellow, slightly corrugated, slightly wavy and very shiny on top.
The petiole is red on the lower half and darker red on
the back. It blooms from mid-June into July. According to the registration materials: "...golden yellow hosta with unusual red petioles and
striking leaf color, H. 'Subcrocea' like...turns chartreuse..."
