This is a
self-pollinated seedling of H. 'Frances
Williams' is a sibling to the famous breeding plant, H.
'Dorothy
Benedict'. It is a non-registered cultivar from
Dr. Ralph (Herb) Benedict of Michigan and it grows into a
medium size plant (14 inches high by 26 inches wide).
The blue-green foliage is heavily corrugated and unruly.
Dense clusters of near white flowers bloom from mid-June
into July followed by viable seeds on scapes up to 24
inches tall.
