Originated by
Ann Frederking from Canada, this cultivar was registered in
2021
as an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Tickle Me
Pink'. It is an upright growing, small to medium size (11 inches high by
20 inches wide) hosta with golden yellow foliage. The
ovate leaves are moderately wavy and have long leaf tips. It bears pale
purple, tubular shape
flowers with stripes in September and sets seed but
their viability was not known at the time of
registration.
According to the Registration materials: "Upright yellow leaves with a
touch of red at the base of the petioles. Red scapes in
late August...becomes chartreuse later in the season..."
