Registered by
Madelon Gilligan of New Zealand in
2017,
this upright growing, medium size (12 inches high by 30
inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Akane'.
It has light green foliage that has flat margins and is
dull on top. The leaves are nearly round and come to a
distinct pointed tip. White flowers bloom from mid-July
into August on scapes about 26 inches tall. It sets
seeds but their viability was not known at the time of
registration. The seed for this plant originated from
Peter Ruh of Ohio. The
registration materials state: "...Extended
flowering period and repeating white blooms. Many seed
pods are nicely formed by the first week of July while
new scapes are still forming."
