This miniature size (3 inches high by 8 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. longipes latifolia which was registered by Nancy Krul of Belle Gardens in Michigan 1994. The leaves start the spring green but turn to gold as the season progresses. It produces lavender flowers in August.
