Originated by Joy Mullin of Illinois but registered in 2009 by Mark Zilis on his behalf, this cultivar is a
hybrid of H. 'Katie Q' × H. 'Thumbelina'.
It is a slow growing, small size (8 inches high by 19
inches wide) hosta with medium blue-green leaves. The
foliage is moderately corrugated, broadly ovate and has
a glaucous bloom on top. Tubular flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes 18 inches tall. According to the registration materials: "...dark green by mid-August..." |
