This very large size
hosta grows to about 27 inches in height with a spread
of around 55 inches. It is of unidentified parentage and was
registered in 1999 by
Dr. Charles Purtymun
and
Jay Hyslop of Walden West Nursery in Oregon. The
upright growing clump has dark green foliage that is
slightly shiny on top with extremely long petioles.
Tubular shaped flowers bloom from mid-July into August
on scapes up to 48 inches tall followed by seed pods.
