This cultivar which is a
tissue culture sport of H. 'Captain Kirk' was registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois
in 2010. It is a large size plant that grows about 20 inches in
height with a 42 inch spread. The dark green foliage has a
creamy yellow marginal variegation. Its leaves are dull on top
and glaucous on the bottom, slightly wavy and round at the base.
The tubular, pale lavender flowers bloom from mid-July into
August.
