Hosta 'Deep Pockets'

This seedling selection was registered by Bob Hird of Iowa in 2005. The parentage is not know although according to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), it is "...possibly out of 'Abiqua Recluse'..."

'Deep Pockets' grows into a large size hosta about 19 inches high by 38 inches wide with a semi-upright form. The leaves are deeply cupped and heavily corrugated. Very pale lavender flowers bloom in July.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...notable for its attractively corrugated, cupped foliage."
