This is the green leaf form of H. 'Decorata'. In the past, it was considered a species but W. George Schmid in his 1991 book reduced it to the status of a cultivar. It is a medium size plant with green foliage that comes to a blunt tip. Semi-bell-shaped purple flowers bloom in August.

This plant may have been sold at one time as Mackwoods No. 13.
