Dr. Ed Elslager of Michigan registered this hybrid of H. 'Dorothy Benedict' × H. 'Maekawa' in 2001. The plant grows
into a large size hosta about 24 inches high with a
spread of 32 inches. It has dark green foliage with streaked
variegation of green, gold and white. The leaves have smooth
texture and are slightly rippled at the margins. Pale lavender
flowers bloom from late June into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "Its smooth texture, oblong-ovate leaf shape, and large size mound size give this multi-colored cultivar the look of a
H. montana despite its
H. 'Sieboldiana' x
H. hypoleuca background."
