Hosta 'Day's End'

This cultivar originated in a tissue culture lab as a sport of H. 'Daybreak' and was registered in 1999 by Mark Zilis of Illinois. The 26 inch high, large size mound spreads to almost 6 feet in width. Its lavender flowers bloom in August.

According to The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...offers all the positive attributes of 'Daybreak'...with the addition of variegation."
