Kedl of Minnesota in 2010, this
medium size (18 inches high by 36 inches wide) cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Karin'.
The very dark green foliage is lightly cupped downward,
nearly round and slightly shiny on top. Its lavender
colored flowers bloom from June into July. According to the registration materials: "...almost
black in color with large lavender flowers, darker than
other "black" hostas..."
