Charles Kwick of Wisconsin in 2016, this upright growing cultivar is a seedling of H. 'Reptilian'.
It is a large size hosta growing to around 26 inches in
height and a width of around 40 inches. The dark green
colored foliage is flat, slightly shiny on top, slightly
folded and broadly ovate. Tubular flowers bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 26 inches tall.
The registration materials state: "Shiny, dark green
leaves in a beautifully shaped upright-mound. Glossy
pigmentation in early spring gives a unique depth of
color."
