This cultivar was listed on the MyHostas Database website. Originated by Arthur Wrede of Maryland, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small size hosta with dark green foliage with red petioles. As the name implies, it has branched flower scapes.

One internet source said that it is a hybrid of H. 'Bill's White Back' × H. 'One Man's Treasure'.
