Hosta 'Dalton's Pick'

This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered by Kent Terpening of New York in 2005. It is a medium size plant about 12 inches high by 23 inches wide with bright gold colored leaves. The foliage is heavily corrugated and cupped. Pale lavender flowers bloom from June into July on scapes up to 18 inches tall.

The New Encyclopedia of Hostas by Diana Grenfell (2009) states: "...shade will turn the leaves chartreuse to green much sooner...The full effect of the intense seersuckering taking seveal seasons to develop..."
