A hybrid of H. 'Tokudama
Flavocircinalis', this cultivar was registered
by
Dr. Dick and Jane Ward of Ohio in 2009. It is a large size plant that grows
to about 19 inches in height with a spread of around
38 inches. The yellow foliage is slightly rippled,
heavily corrugated, broadly ovate and dull on top.
Near white, tubular shaped flowers bloom from June
into July.
According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...still under evaluation in the
Wade & Gatton collection, but it shows great promise. Besides
its bright gold foliage color, the corrugation and substance are
impressive."
