This small size cultivar is the result of a cross of H. 'Resonance' × H. 'White Christmas' which was registered by Wm and Eleanor Lachman Massachusetts in 1991. The dark green foliage has white medial (center) variegation and the leaves are very wavy. It bears purple flowers in July.

There is also a cultivar named H. 'Wuschel' which in German means Curly.
