Hosta 'Curious Yellow'

This is one of those cases where there are two hostas with the same name. Neither is registered with The American Hosta Society. The first one to be registered would become the "official" hosta of that name and the other would have to be renamed.

A cultivar by this name is included on the Hosta Library and is noted as having been originated by Mildred Seaver of Massachusetts. From the photos, it appears to be a medium size hosta with very light greenish to yellow foliage. The leaves are narrow and come to a distinct point.

Hosta Helper will call this plant 'Curious Yellow' (Seaver)

A non-registered hosta of unidentified parentage from Ron Livingston of Michigan, this small size cultivar has heavily rippled, wavy golden yellow foliage. It bears light purple flowers.
