Originated by Dan Wols of Illinois, this non-registered cultivar is of unidentified parentage. It is a small to medium size hosta with intensely blue-green foliage.

The Hosta Library and MyHostas database show a plant called H. 'Cubbie Blue' while the 2022 AHS Online Auction shows one called H. 'Cubby Blue', both by Dan Wols. We suspect that the AHS site is correct but we were unable to find any other references.
