This cultivar of unidentified parentage was registered in 2004 by
Emile and Jane Deckert of Maryland. The hosta grows into a
medium size about 14 inches tall by 32 inches wide. Its
gold colored leaves are ovate, not wavy, slightly
corrugated and have thick substance. Near white flowers
bloom in June. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...exhibits many 'Tokudama'traits."
The name is basically
French for suntan lotion.
