This cultivar is part of
Van
Wade's "American Indian Series" of hostas. It is a hybrid of H. montana 'Aureomarginata' × H. 'Sea Drift' that was registered by Wade in 2007. It forms a
giant size (36 inches high by 54 inches wide) mound of heavily rippled,
intensely wavy, slightly cupped and broadly ovate foliage. Near white flowers bloom
from late June into July.
According to the label, this
plant was named for a tribe native to Ontario, Canada.
