Originated by Marco and Joyce Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Purple Haze'. It is a medium size hosta about 17 inches tall at maturity with blue-green foliage that has a "subtle" yellow marginal variegation. The petioles are reddish-purple and the color extends up into the leaf blade in the spring before fading out later. It bears lavender colored flowers.
