2017, this cultivar is a seedling of
[(( H. 'William Lachman' ×
H. 'Sagae' seedling) ×
H. 'Sagae') ×
H. 'Russ O'Hara']. It is an upright, large size
(20 inches high by 42 inches wide) hosta with intense
blue-green foliage that has yellow marginal variegation.
The leaves are broadly ovate, slightly twisted, folded
and have a glaucous bloom on top and bottom. Pale
lavender flowers bloom in July on scapes up to 27 inches
tall. It sets viable seeds. The
registration materials state: "...Upright, flared
mound of pointed, bright blue foliage with a feathered
yellow margin that holds late into the season...yellow
margins fade to pale yellow later."
