Don Dean of Minnesota registered this upright, large size (22 inches high by 40 inches wide) hybrid of (H. 'Purple Verticulated Elf' × H. 'Northern Heritage') x an open-pollinated seedling in 2013. The foliage is intensely dark blue-green, moderately corrugated, moderately to deeply wavy, broadly ovate, slightly twisted and glaucous on top. Pale lavender, tubular flowers bloom in July. It sets seeds but their viability was unknown as of the time of registration.
