this cultivar is an open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Frosted
Morning' ×
H. 'Warwick
Comet'. It is a large size plant about 20
inches high by 32 inches wide with blue-green foliage
that has a creamy greenish white streaked variegation.
The broadly ovate leaves are slightly cupped, slightly
folded and heavily corrugated. Streaking extends down
into the petioles. It bears near white flowers in July
on scapes up to 30 inches tall followed by viable seeds
in streaky blue pods. The
registration materials state: "Very interesting
blue colors used in registrant's breeding program." |
