Originated by
Kent Terpening
of New York who found it at a nursery, this cultivar was registered in
2021
by the
AHS on behalf of the originator. It is a
fast growing, open-pollinated seedling of H. 'Confetti
Cup' that is a medium size (17 inches high by 36 inches wide) hosta.
The strong yellow green (145 RHS
Colour Chart) foliage is
broadly ovate, slightly cupped and slightly corrugated.
It bears pale lavender, semi-bell shape
flowers in July and sets viable seeds.
According to the Registration materials: "Roundish, bright
chartreuse leaves have a satiny sheet and white backs.
Nice sun tolerance...more green than yellow by the end
of the season..."
