2017, this cultivar is a
large size (20 inches high by 36 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Sagae' ×
H. 'Sea Gulf Stream'. Its golden yellow
foliage is broadly ovate, slightly cupped, moderately
wavy, slightly corrugated and dull on top. Pale lavender
flowers with inside petals streaked with lavender bloom
from June into July on scapes 28 to 38 inches tall. It
sets seed but their viability was undetermined at the time of
registration. The
registration materials state: "...Super deep,
golden yellow color and a ruffled edge...Golden yellow
color intensifies through the season."
