A seedling of H. 'Tokudama', this
cultivar was registered by
Robert Hackbarth of
The Hosta Leaf in Colesburg, Iowa in 2004. The clump grows
into a large size hosta about 18 inches in height with a spread of 4 feet. Its leaves
are moderately cupped, heavily corrugated and have thick
substance. In late June, it bears very pale lavender colored
flowers. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...gives the appearance of being a hybrid between 'Tokudama'
and a H. nakaiana-type such as 'Candy Hearts'."
