2017, this cultivar is a
large size (24 inches high by 38 inches wide) seedling of H. 'Sum
and Substance' ×
H. montana 'Aureomarginata'. The foliage is
medium green, ovate, slightly folded and dull on top.
Pale lavender flowers with minimal striping bloom from
mid-July into August on scapes up to 36 inches tall. It
sets seed but their viability was not known at the time
of registration. The
registration materials state: "...Upright stance
with slender draping leaves...stable in shady locations,
will probably fade with sun exposure."
