This
open-pollinated seedling of
H. 'Glory' was originated by
Dr. Doug Beilstein of Ohio and registered by
Mark Zilis of Illinois in 2006. The
medium size clump grows to about 16 inches in height
with a spread of 33 inches. Leaves come to a distinct point and
have thick substance. It bears pale purple flowers starting in
late June. According to
The Hostapedia by Mark Zilis (2009), "...I selected it in 2005 for its attractive blue-green
foliage color, unruly habit, and thick substance."
