(**For clarity sake, the hostas in
Red are the background of the unnamed pod parent
and the one in Green
is the pollen parent of this cultivar.)
This upright growing plant is a large size hosta about
24 inches high by 37 inches wide. Its foliage is medium
green and is slightly folded, slightly corrugated,
heavily wavy and has tips that curve downward. Purplish
red "fuchsia" flowers which have a pale lavender color
inside with darker lavender centers bloom from late July
into August on scapes up to 41 inches tall. It sets seed
in burgundy colored pods but their viability was unknown
at the time of registration. The
registration materials state: "Very wavy leaves
with proportional, vibrant, deep red flower scapes that
carry clusters of fuchsia-colored blooms."
