This cultivar was listed on the Hosta Lists website.  Originated by Marco and Joyce Fransen of Fransen Hostas in the Netherlands ,, this non-registered cultivar is a sport of H. 'Mourning Dove'. It is a blue-green hosta with arching, narrow, pointed leaves. 'Clattering Water' is a medium size plant about a 12 inches tall by 31 inches wide with lavender flowers followed by viable seeds.
